A Simple and Reliable Route to Compliance
The Robust Details Scheme is an alternative to pre-completion sound testing (PCT) of separating walls and floors in new build joined houses, bungalows and flats, to demonstrate compliance with the relevant minimum Building Regulation performance standards in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Robust Details can be used when:
- Constructing new-build attached houses and/or flats
- Adding two or more new houses to one end of an existing terrace
- Constructing a mixed-use development containing houses and/or flats
Robust Details can be used instead of sound testing.
