Code for Sustainable Homes
The Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) includes provision to allow credits to be awarded for those registering to use robust details, this is based on their proven performance.
Detailed information describing how credits are calculated and when the credit table will be updated is contained within the accompanying document.
This table shows which of the published robust details currently achieve credits. The award of credits is subject to review and revision as outlined in the accompanying document and all users of this table, including developers, architects and CSH assessors are advised to review this information.

Notes
- RDs and PCT can be used in the same building. The number of credits awarded should be based on the lower performance. For example, if the floor is subject to PCT and qualifies for 3 credits and the wall is in the RD scheme and qualifies for 4 credits, only 3 credits would be awarded
- Whether PCT or RDs are used it is important to ensure the wall and floor types chosen are compatible. RD combinations are described in tables 3a,b and c of the Introduction to the Robust Details Handbook
- (P) = Credit entitlement is Provisional as per guidance in accompanying document
- Top storey flats may be awarded credits based on airborne sound performance of the floor only, noting that flats beneath other dwellings will be subject to both impact and airborne sound transmission.
- •Credits awarded at design stage will be awarded at post construction stage (provided the development meets the RD requirements) even if the credits awarded for the RD in question have changed in the interim
