The Handbook is the foundation of the scheme and an essential reference for everyone involved in the design and building process.
It contains full specifications for every one of the current Robust Details. It also includes technical guidance and information.
The Handbook is available as an A4 loose-leaf binder (printed document) or as a PDF download. You can order online or by Post, please contact us if you require additional help with purchasing.

Please note: you will need a copy of the Robust Details Handbook in order to enter the relevant Robust Detail(s) you require on the Plot Registration Form.
Online handbook Licence Keys are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. During this period, you will have unlimited access to view and download the handbook and receive automatic notifications when updates are made. We will send you and automatic reminder email when your Licence expiry date approaches.
Purchasing a printed copy of the Robust Details Handbook will entitle you to receive any update packs free of charge for the remainder of the current subscription year, which runs from September to the following August. The cost for subscribing to receive Robust Details Handbook update packs in the subsequent year is currently £30, with discounts for multiple purchases (see subscription order form).
