Amendments to existing robust details

20 Jan, 2012
The January 2012 update contains a new separating floor that is the first precast concrete floor to be eligible for 3 credits in the Code for Sustainable Homes and 4 credits for the EcoHomes scheme: E-FC-14™ uses Thermal Economics IsoRubber Base CFSH Grade resilient layer system and floating screed.

Another significant development is the addition of a junction detail that enables E-WT-2™ to be used as a separating element between rooms-in-roof. Previously, robust details™ timber frame walls could not extend up to sloping ceilings or flat roofs.

Other amendments include optional cavity fill to Plasmor’s E-WM-12™; Besblock Star Performer as an alternative block in Isover’s E-WM-17™; and additional joist options for Cellecta’s E-FT-6™.
